Yatri is a B&B in Mirano, on the Italian mainland near Venice. The recently-restored house is an elegant building with quite unusual spaces set aside for guests. Caterina Borgato runs the B&B and is a keen traveller herself, as reflected by the decor of the house.
Her brief for the site was to create something simple, visually appealing and elegant that would be in keeping with her own style. Html + css with some php was the most economical choice for the site, given the simplicity of the site's structure and the fact that Caterina had little need to update content herself. Php was used for easier management of translated content, inclusions of site-wide files such as the menu and meta tags and creation of page-specific css classes/ids from the url.
